Is it the goal to ensure that a common collective ethic is placed digitally within the process of coding? Are we trying to make sure that the "common" are given a share, access, equity when developing a program, a code, a matrix?
Are we working to ensure that everyone gets profit from the work of others as they receive it?

What does "sustainable" mean?
Sustainable means "able to be maintained".
In essence sustainability means maintaining our environment, economy and society during any kind of development.
These three things are also known as the triple bottom line.
Sustainability also recognises that the environment, economy and society are all interrelated.

For something to be fully sustainable those who seek to sustain, must first sustain themselves. To do this, does not require that one give up their morals or ethics or attention to sharing the profits of the participation. Nor does it exclude the benefits to customers, employees, or investors and owners.
Owners and workers must sustain each other and that relationship must be kept human and environmentally enhancing. Always seeking to improve the working mission and goals. At a certain level, regardles of how "open" a framework of operation tries to be, the dynamics of business always require a formal process and "guidelines" placing some as the supervisors of those who work to improve and manifest the products and services that the "company" provides.
A collective effort has to support and benefit the collective that works, but also provide the customer with what it is asking for, the investor what they expect or were told to expect, the user must get what it wants. Can everyone own a part of this? At what point does it turn from a self-sustaining effort to a full commons sustaining effort?

The requirements for any venture on planet earth is the establishment of a term, a definition, a title, a name. What is this "commonality" described as? How do we develop an organizational structure? That is easy. How do we decide what that structure is called, is another question.
My internal conversation has spent the past few months looking for answers to this question. I have deconstructed language usage, roots and origins, associations, and ancient alignments. What is happening by the work that is being presented here? What do "we" collectively want to be defined as? A brand? Gap, Nike, Whole Foods, Sustained Systems, Inc., CoAction Digital....ideas fused with action fused with mission fused with the future meshed with ethics and standards??
